Katala is a Sardinian white wine - Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore, obtained from 100% Vermentino grapes from San Leonardo, Calangianus.

Soil - Sandy, granite breakup.
Altitude - 350 above sea level.
Yield per hectare - 40/50 quintals / ha
Vine system - Counter espalier.
Pruning system - Guyot.
Density of breeding - 4000 p / ha.
Harvest period - End of September.
Vinification - Fermentative maceration with the skins for 5 days at a controlled temperature.
Aging - in stainless steel tanks.
Bottling period - May of the year following the harvest
Color - Straw yellow with golden reflections.
Perfume - Intense aromas reminiscent of ripe yellow fruit.
Taste - Balanced, fat, very persistent.
Food matches - Grilled and baked fish dishes, shellfish, soup and white meats.

Straw-yellow colored wine with golden reflections. On the nose intense aromas reminiscent of ripe yellow fruit. In the mouth it is balanced, fat and very persistent. Accompanies perfectly grilled and baked fish dishes, shellfish, soup and white meats.
