Features:

Barrosu Reserve is a Sardinian red wine of Denomination of Controlled Origin, made ​​from Cannoanu grapes. Fermentation takes place in small vats by a thousand gallons for about 25 days, the aging continues for 14 months in barrels and then a year in bottle.  

My name is Montisci, Giovanni Montisci and I am grower; by vocation, before it for living. I cultivate Cannonau saplings shaped by decades of wind that here in Barbagia hisses from the North-West between stables and vineyards, vineyards and pastures.
Two hectares, my vineyards, set in a landscape of hard and ancient traits. A landscape of traditions and ancestral customs, and effort.
Fifteen years of toil in the countryside before bottling the first Barrosu, spent in the vineyard under the guidance of the "old" to learn everything there was to learn, and respect the lives cultivating it in the most natural way possible. Fifteen years in the cellar to try, do, undo and do even before you acquire knowledge and get to realize my dream: Cannonau Barrosu.
