Musteba - Salumificio Lilliu - Sardinian cured meat

Features:

Typical cold cut of Campidano, with ancient origins. Tasty and rare, it has a pinkish color, with low fats. Gluten and lactose free. The Musteba, also known as Mustela, is a typical Sardinian cold cut, precisely from the area of Monte Linas, in the Medio Campidano.

The Musteba is obtained from the loin of the pig (the pig's back), flavored with black pepper, white garlic and sea salt sprinkled along the dry surface. It is then left for several days in salting, at a controlled temperature, in a fresh room, and finally it is left aging in a natural way for a month and a half, hung on sticks with string, without being covered by any material.
