This is a Sardinian red wine Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, grapes - Cagnulari 100%

Wine obtained from Cagnulari grapes, harvested at the end of September, with maceration on the skins for about 8/10 days.
Alba & Spanedda, after stopping in steel, has a light 4 months barrel passage, to refine its perfumes.

Vivid ruby red color, good olfactory harmony that ranges between the floral and wild berries, as well as a slight spiciness up to pleasant balsamic notes.
Quite soft, despite the lively but balanced tannins, Alba & Spanedda is appreciated in youth, but after a few years in the bottle it reaches its qualitative maturity, leaving us without the emotions that only this vine is able to give highlighting the particularities of this of the territory, the Coros.
To pair with cured meats and cheeses, first courses with game sauce and second stewed or grilled meat.

The Alba & Spanedda Winery, was founded in 1998 by the love and passion of the owners Sebastiano and Tonino.

The company, which today covers 7 ha, of which 5 already in production and the remaining ones being replanted, is located in an area to the North West of the Province of Sassari (Logudoro) called Coros, and which includes the territory of strong municipalities vine-growing vocation such as Usini, Ossi, Tissi, Uri and Ittiri.
