Su Pillu traditional is a bread suitable for long conservation, it's made by semolina, flour, potatoes, and with the addition in the dough yeast natural (su framentu). It was once the bread of wealthy families, in variants based bran or barley flour but above all was the bread that shepherds consumed during the weeks of transhumance
