Guttiau bread is a tasty variant of carasau bread. In Sardinia every feast or event has a characteristic bread and each region has its typical and original bread. To make carasau bread, only semi-spicy semolina, water and yeast are needed. You have to keep the hot oven and use it, if you own it, a refractory stone. You can replace it with an overturning lump, which will heat up equally and allow the bread to have a surface to cook on evenly. For a perfect guttiau bread use an intense fruity oil for a full taste.
