Ebano - Vitivinicola Ledda - Prodotti di Sardegna

The viticulture of the area of Bonnannaro, Meilogu, is exalted in our Ebano, rosso Isola dei Nurgahi IGT. Quaint and charming, with its scent reminiscent of the small berries, accompanied by a soft taste, elegant and persistent.

Grapes

Sardinian red grapes -  Bovale 50% 

Vineyards

Planted on soils from decaying limestone and basalt seats about 500 mt / slm, medium texture / sandy, reared back, with a density of 5,500 plants / ha

Harvest time

Second half of October

60 q per 42 hl in vinification

Vinification

Maceration of crushed grapes lasted for 15/18 days in steel vats with controlled temperature, followed by various racking up the aging period. 

Aging

12 months in steel tanks and 12 months in oak barrels of 700 liters and 500 liters, followed by at least 6 months in bottle

Alcohol content 15% Vol., OH 3.75, yield 80 quintals per hectare, total acidity 4.8 g. / L., Residual sugars 2.1 g. / L., Dry extract 31.5 gr. / Lt

Tasting Notes

Ebano is a wine of character and particular finesse, from intense garnet color and bouquet with hints of berries combined with notes of spices. Warm and full on the palate, smooth and balanced. Temperature 18 ° C
