Cigala (read Sigara) is, in the Catalan language spoken in Alghero, the Cicada, an insect present everywhere in the territory, which during the summer period accompanies with its characteristic song the ripening of the grapes and the summer cohabitations.

Cigala - Ledà - Sardinian wine

Cigala goes well with both meat and fish dishes. For its freshness and not excessive structure it is perfect with fish dishes where condiments and sauces are present or with blue fish, in particular with tuna.

Intense and persistent - fruity, hints of morello cherry and wild blackberries emerge, accompanied by balsamic notes of the Mediterranean marine scrub.
