Provenance Wine grapes typical of Sulcis with a discreet addition of French varieties vinified from spurred cordon vineyards cultivated in the Sulcis territory
Soil composition Average mixture of clay, sand and limestone
Blend 60% autoctone - 40% french
Climate Hot and dry summers, mild winter
Harvest time The harvest in regular years begins in the second half of September and ends in mid-October
Vinification The must is fermented with the skins at a temperature between 25 and 30 C., the whole mass is subjected to periodic pumping over that favors the transfer of the compounds present in the pomace. The malolactic fermentation imparts a distinctive smoothness to the wine, which is then aged in French oak barrels for about 15 months
Organoleptic characteristics Colour: intense ruby ​​red. Bouquet: intense fruity aroma with liquorice finish. Taste: An elegant wine with good body in the mouth. Full flavor that develops notes of salinity and softness with prevailing fruity and stylish aromas of caper, rosemary and pepper. Velvety finish
