Fradiles - Fradiles - Sardinian specials

Fradiles is a Mandrolisai Doc, so a blend of Cannonau, Monica and Bovale - grown in the territory of Atzara, precisely in the area of Mandrolisai. Perfect to match with malloreddus alla campidanese: tomatoes, saffron and grated Fiore Sardo cheese.

Grapes

Bovale 40%, Cannonau 30% e Monica 30%

Vines

Planted on soils from granite weathering, placed at about 500 m / above sea level, medium-textured / sandy bred to tree with a planting density of 6,000 vines per hectare

Raising

The vines are trained to tree and back, with a planting density of 5,000 vines per hectare

Harvest

From the second half of October

Production

70 q per 49 hectoliters of wine to be refined

Vinification

Maceration of the grapes, continued for 8-10 days in steel vats with controlled temprature, followed by various racking up during the aging period

Aging

In oak barrels of 700 liters and 500 liters for at least 6 months

Matching

Served with traditional cuisine, including roast meats, game and mature cheeses

Deep ruby red

Spacious with hints of berries and Mediterranean

Full-bodied on the palate, soft and balanced
