Arbutus honey - Bresca Dorada - Sardinian food

The son of flowers and honey bees is an ingredient that should not be avoided. Its consumption is good for the upper respiratory tract, muscles, heart, liver, digestive system, kidneys, bones and even blood. To deprive it would be a crime.

Bresca Dorada honeys are produced using the technique of nomadism: the hives are moved to areas where certain varieties of flowers prevail; this allows the wealth of productions that today are proposed: orange, strawberry tree, thistle and eucalyptus.

Honeydew Honey - “La Molinata” Beekeeping The Honeydew Honey produced by “La Molinata” Beekeeping is a rare speciality with a distinctive character, produced during the warm summer months by bees that collect the sugary secretions found on forest trees. It stands out for its very dark amber colour, almost black, and its dense consistency, which remains liquid for a long time. Its aromatic profile is unique: less sweet than nectar honeys, it releases intense notes of malt, caramel and resin. Thanks to its artisan cold processing, it retains all its rich sensory qualities, making it an extraordinary ingredient for gastronomic pairings with aged cheeses or as a distinctive sweetener for beverages.
