Feature:

We propose, for lovers of traditional flavors, an example of naturally smoked Sardinian mullet. Made by the artisans of Cabras.

The Cabras mullet, particular type of fish, can compete with any other product-prized fish existing in the Mediterranean. In Cabras, the mullet is considered at the same level with even the most famous and renowned sea bass and sea bream.

In the case of mullet as well we work the product when fresh, and then we fillet it and we deprive him of any plugs, then, after proper curing, we put it in the oven for a few days at a constant temperature and submit it to reach a lightly smoked, in order to highlight the flavor and aroma.

At certain times we work this type of fish also accompanied by certificates of origin and organic processing. Further processing of the mullet are: fillet of smoked mullet in oil and non-oil smoked. Both are flavored with myrtle leaves, rosemary and bay leaf.
