Smoked eel - Tharros Pesca

Features:

The Smoked eel is known by Cabraresi since ancient times, the origins of his work are documented in the historical books; remember the quote from the first metíæ of the fifteenth century by Bartolomeo Platina in "The honest pleasure and good health."

It is mentioned in a document of 1386, where mention is made of their precious cargo aboard a Spanish galleon, invaded by pirates in the Gulf of Origin: Oristano.

Today Tharros Pesca produces smoked eel with various woods, also belonging to the classical Mediterranean bush.

The smoked eel that we have proposed is realized by Pino Spanu, a craftsman of Cabras, home of mullet roe, which owns the technique of filleting and smoking of this beautiful fish.
