Passito from Sardinian red grapes, Sweet sardinian red wine made by Surrau in Arzachena, in the heart of Gallura

Sole ruju - Vigne Surrau - Sardinian wines

Features:

Sweet wine made from Sardinian red grapes harvested by hand in the last week of October and allowed to dry completely on racks. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 15 days, after which it is transferred to oak barrels of 500 liters of second / third step where ages for 12 months.

The color is ruby red with light garnet reflections, intense and full of Mediterranean flair. The taste is soft, full and intense, with a good balance and a long ending. It goes well with red fruit tarts, sweets and dried honey.
