It's a Carignano del Sulcis red wine Isola dei Nuraghi IGT of great quality ad concentration with a great aging potential. The Carignano is produced in vineyards on sandy soils, planted with ungrafted vines from almost century-old, in very low yield per hectare.
It's an full-bodied elegant wine, sometimes austere as the land where it comes from and silky at the same time with olfactory notes of spices, tobacco and white chocolate. The color is dark ruby red, deep and powerful, aromatic bouquet with a full flavor of ripe fruits and spicy.
Alcohol content: 14.5%
We offer this Carignano in combination with a Fiore Sardo Dop of Monte Accas, with a dressing of artichokes in olive oil.
