Myrtle liqueur of Montiferru made by Carlo Pische, Distillerie Lussurgesi
Features:
Select berries: from spontaneous myrtle plants in the Montiferru area, hand-picked during the vesting period, from late November to late February.
Maceration: we use rotary steel macerators for a minimum of 30 days to reach the right level of extraction and "solubilisation", in alcohol, of the sensory characteristics of myrtle.
Dilution aging: dilution with water of the sources of San Leonardo, pure and low in sugar syrup. Next aging in stainless steel tanks for 2 months after dilution.
Technical data: alcohol 34% vol.
Features of Mirto Judu: Dark red color with violet reflections; intense, aromatic with balsamic notes of wild berries and Mediterranean, flavor, pleasantly astringent, slightly sweet, net of myrtle berries. Great after a meal, to be served preferably frozen.
