Description

Miradas - Murales

The wine landscape of Gallura is enriched with extraordinary nuances through the skilled craftsmanship and intuition of Cantina Murales. This wine is born from a production philosophy focused on excellence, where listening to nature and direct observation among the vines determine the perfect moment for harvesting. During the crucial days of the harvest, careful tasting of the ripe grapes guides the decision to proceed with meticulous processing, capable of enhancing the fullest aromatic expression of a unique territory, characterised by granite soils and the constant breath of Mediterranean winds sweeping across the hills near Olbia.

The cellar process follows precise rhythms that respect the raw material, combining the wisdom of Sardinian traditions with modern temperature-control technology. The grapes, entirely hand-harvested, undergo soft pressing to preserve the integrity of the free-run juice. The liquid then undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation at a constant 18°C, followed by several weeks of resting in contact with its own lees. The process is completed by entirely natural settling, which continues until May, avoiding forced interventions and allowing the wine to stabilise before bottling, followed by further ageing in stainless steel and in glass.

Visually, the wine reveals a beautifully intense straw-yellow colour, a luminous reflection of the island's sunny character. On the nose, it opens with a broad and enveloping fruity bouquet, clearly revealing rich notes of perfectly ripe Golden Delicious apple, accompanied by exotic hints of pineapple and banana, together with soft nuances of pear. On the palate, it expresses a dense structure and velvety texture; the wine is characterised by a full mouthfeel and remarkable aromatic persistence. The sip stands out for its perfect balance between freshness and softness, qualities that give it an exceptionally refined character.

This white wine is an excellent choice for enhancing seafood cuisine and refined gastronomy. It pairs perfectly with delicate Mediterranean first courses, white meats prepared with aromatic herbs, and richly flavoured fish stews. It creates an ideal and almost magical combination when served with fresh shellfish. To fully appreciate its structural elegance and aromatic range, a cool but not excessively cold serving temperature is recommended. Its development in bottle allows the wine to reach its fullest expression and maximum gustatory harmony in the vintage following the harvest.
