Precious and always unmistakably

Product typical of our land, the saffron is obtained following processing secular methods of working that, just as in the old times, require so much effort.

The gathering takes place in early December in the early morning before the flowers open. From the flowers, collected with great care, the precious stigmas of bright red are detached. Each flower has only three.

This requires about one hundred and twenty flowers to get one pound of stigmas and you need an acre of land planted with saffron to get six to eight pounds of stigmas.

Sardinian saffron is distinguished by its delicate aroma that is able to give a unique touch to any dish due to penetrating sensations that can convey the taste and smell.
