Dil'e ferru, grappa of Sardinian marc - Mielica Aresu - Sardinian liqueurs

For the production of Fil'e ferru - Mielica Aresu distill Sardinian marcs, for a product of high alcohol content. The color is adamantine, it has ethereal, penetrating and strong flavor and it is equally intense.

The filu 'e ferru, Sardinian Italian brandy, is a spirit of Sardinian origin. The name goes back a few centuries ago and derives from the method used to conceal the stills when the brandy was produced illegally. The containers with the distillate and the stills were hidden underground and a wire was sunk on the ground to be able to find the exact location later (in some areas more than one).
