Specialized in the production of an excellent Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, the cellar Tondini offers with its "Karagnanj" all the minerality and sapidity of the granite fields of Calangianus hill, a perfect area for the growth of Vermentino di Gallura. In fact, the area, with its altitude up to 400 m asl and the strong thermal day and night excursions, guarantees the perfect microclimate for this type of wine.
The vineyards from which Karagnanj comes are rooted on sandy soils, exposed to the southeast and raised with a Guyot system. Winemaking is entrusted to the care of anologist Antonio Tondini, one of the four children of Orlando Tondini: in the cellar the Vermentino is refined in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness.
Vermentino di Gallura "Karagnanj" is a wine of character and quality, a typical expression of the Mediterranean territory of Sardinia. The eyes are bright, with a pale straw yellow. This shade is a hugging nose with scents of ripe yellow fruit, citrus and white flowers. In the mouth it shows a good structure and intensity: initially appears soft, but then releases all its salt and granite character, coupled with the freshness typical of the ventilated atmosphere of Upper Gallura. A deliciously fruity and floral finish. Great with great seafood, soups, soups and white meats.
