Features of our almond cookies: 

The Tliccas will be shipped three days after the order, the time required to achieve them.

The Tiliccas are stuffed cookies of various forms (horseshoe, ellipse, crescent, heart, spiral) whose outer surface is made by a thin strip of violada dough (a well-kneaded dough with lard) durum wheat flour, "wheel cut" with various jagged edges, stuffed with almonds, honey or sapa. The sheet is then closed again by hand, in the shape of a crown.

The Tiliccas are cookies, widespread in central and northern Sardinia, and each town packs it with many variations, especially in the preparation of the stuffing.

The name of the sweet comes from Latin Siliqua, meaning "pod", "carob".

Occasions: All Saints, All Souls' Day; Saint Anthony Abbot; Christmas and Easter.
