Malacoda, belgian strong ale - Birrificio Mezzavia - Sardinian typical products

Malacoda is the Mezzavia interpretation of the belgian strong ale: fruity and full-bodied, with intense aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit on the nose, with pear, peach in syrup, banana and white grapes in evidence;

full and round beer, hides behind its freshness and light spicy notes its 7.5 ° alcohol.

The closure is characterized by an elegant bitterness and a present not excessive dryness, making it a dangerously drinkable beer.

The name of this beer (Malacoda is a devil of Dante's comedy) wants to reconnect with the Belgian tradition of this style, in which the strong ale were baptized with devilish and demonic names to underline the high degree of alcohol combined with the dangerous ease of drinking.
