Samak - Cantina di Samugheo - Sardinian food on sale

Samak according to the oral tradition of the place and the views of different scholars is the ancient name of Samugheo, in the subregion of Barbagia Mandrolisai. His name according to the ancient Phoenician language means foothold thus indicating the birth of the old Samak village as a place to carry out trade exchanges between the Phoenicians and the people of the inner zone.

The Samak Isola dei Nuraghi IGT  is a ruby red color wine with violet reflections, it has an intense bouquet, with hints of cherry and fine berries. The taste is full, velvety, soft, full-bodied, persistent.

It goes well with cold cuts, roasts and mature cheeses.
