Macca meda - Barley - Sardinian food
Features of Macca Meda:
After the flattering success with the first five beers, Sardinian brewer Nicola Perra brewer launches a new adventure "very mad" (Macca Meda, in the Sardinian language) with a beer close to an American Amber Ale, at the same time strong and drinkable, "international" for the presence of ingredients associated with countries with a long tradition, placed at the service of the new emerging "Made in Italy", synonymous with imagination, creativity and originality.
The Macca Meda, at nose gives us a pleasant feeling of freshness followed by impressive fruity notes of white grape, orange and apricot. On the palate the citrus, bitter and spicy aftertaste live together and address us to an explosive aftertaste, characterized by insightful tips and peppered by a sharp astringency. First Gold is the principal architect, a hops used infrequently, of English origin, cultivated in Belgium in the area of Poperinge.
Perfect, for complexity and eclecticism, for high-class restaurants, we recommend you to try it with full flavored meats such as duck or goose. Enjoyable even in less formal environments, with medium-aged cheeses.
